WHAT’S THE PROCESS FOR CUSTOMIZATION?
Our goal is to make ordering a custom cake easy! Browse the cake and cupcake examples to get a sense of styles and pricing. Once you reach out, we’ll email you a few ideas based on what you’re looking for. Please note that we don’t replicate existing cakes, cupcakes, or treats exactly.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE CAKE I NEED?
The best place to start is your guest count. Keep in mind that kids tend to eat smaller portions than adults, and if you’re serving other desserts, you may need less cake than you think. If you need to add on to your order after it’s placed, just let us know ahead of time and we’ll do our best to make it work.
WHAT FLAVORS DO YOU OFFER?
We offer a variety of flavors listed on the inquiry form. We’re not able to offer fruit fillings, curds, cheesecake, or mousse options at this time.
I HAVE AN ALLERGY OR SPECIAL REQUEST
Please let us know about any allergies when you place your order. We can make gluten-free, vegan, and nut-free cakes, but our kitchen and supplies do come into contact with those allergens. We take extra precautions for allergy orders, but we can’t guarantee there’s no cross-contact.
DO YOU OFFER FONDANT CAKES? WHAT OTHER KINDS OF DECORATION DO YOU OFFER?
All of our cakes are covered in our buttercream. We don’t offer fondant-covered cakes at this time. We love creating one-of-a-kind decorations using gumpaste, homemade marshmallow fondant, buttercream, or royal icing. We can also incorporate edible images, cardstock or plastic decor, and custom toppers.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?
If you cancel or reschedule before your final payment is made, your 50% non-refundable deposit will be held as a credit toward a future or rescheduled order. Please note that we can’t guarantee date availability for rescheduled orders. Once final payment is made, we’re unable to accommodate cancellations or date changes. Most cakes and cupcakes can be frozen if your event is cancelled after final payment. If we ever need to cancel on our end, you’ll receive a full refund plus a discount on a future order.
HOW DO I PAY?
Full payment is required to confirm your order. You will receive instructions with your invoice for payment options. We accept venmo and credit card payments.
WHEN/WHERE IS PICK UP AND CAN I HAVE MY ORDER DELIVERED?
Pickup times are arranged when you place your order. Any changes to pickup time or delivery need to be confirmed at least 48 hours in advance.
We also deliver! We regularly deliver to Arlington, Winchester, Somerville, Cambridge, Belmont, Brookline, Boston, Malden, Melrose, Stoneham, Watertown, Waltham, Lexington, Wakefield, Woburn, Everett, Revere, Saugus, Newton, and Lynn. Delivery starts at $15.
WHAT IS A RESIDENTIAL KITCHEN?
We take food safety seriously. As a residential baker, Liza Littenberg-Tobias is ServSafe certified and licensed to bake out of her home kitchen. The kitchen is regulated by the Medford Health Department and meets all state and city requirements. Ingredients and supplies for personal use are stored separately, and the kitchen is fully cleaned and sanitized before every order
